Chili cookoff comp – Jon K
– A fundraiser we do with San Mateo firefighters to raise money for MDA
– Last year we raised $3500
– Two components
– Standard bottle competition, judged formally according to BJCP rules
– Keg competition, which is pure people’s choice – what beer do people like best?
– Need people to evangelize other local clubs for entries and judges; many WoW members are in a second club and they can spread the word
– Brian – talk to Warren at Loma Brewing re pro-am
– Toni – we could do actual project management with a Google tool and start listing jobs/tasks
– Judging probably on August 11-12 and August 18-19 for bottle comp
– August 25 is actual chili cookoff and keg comp in San Mateo
